This weekend we proved to ourselves we have woodworking skills. We put together drawings, made a model and brought this desk to life. Thought I would share some photos.

Although I think about painting 100% of the time, I haven't been doing much lately. Have been needing to take a break for awhile. Really enjoying the jewelry making and all the new techniques involved.
We are currently doing a garage makeover and as you probably know, it is a long involved process with lots of dust and dirt. I'm just glad it's not hot yet.
Here is a photo shortly after we cleared everything out and did a little painting. As you can see Guy is hard at work (he loves projects).

At The Cameron Museum
My painting "Wonky Bumbershoots" is on display at the Cameron Art Museum along with 800+ artists throughout North Carolina until October, 2011.
