I am so thrilled to announce my painting has been chosen for first place in the DailyPaintworks monthly contest!!!
Do you remember the scream Olive unleashes in "Little Miss Sunshine" when she gets the message that she has won the beauty contest? That was me after finding out I won. My dogs seriously thought I had lost my mind corralling around me like little groupies joining in on the celebration. Or maybe they were just hoping for a treat.

Here is a Christmas commission that I can post - It was the client's suggestion to use a black background and at first I didn't think it was a very good idea, but now that I see the finished painting, I rather like it…. going try more like this.
