I've been really enjoying experimenting with watercolors as you can see and these crustaceans are fascinating with all the shapes and colors. It brings be back into the graphic side of art and right now is totally absorbing me. More to come!

I have been MIA for a few weeks - Been dealing with a bad tooth and extraction and then my dog Chumley's tooth had to be pulled (same tooth). It's been crazy, but I did manage to paint this super fun crab. I'll be back on track this week for sure - got some commissions rolling in aaand I'm going to start working on a BIG show in the fall featuring my fancy dressed-up pets which will include cats..... Yayy!

Just a Shell

I have painted this type of shell a few times before because I really love the splash of purple with just a hints of yellow and rust and also the form of these clam shells are very intriguing to me.
I did this as a study for a very large painting that I'm getting ready to start.
