I've often commented on your paintings of dogs, Clair, but have to say that I find all your work is impressive. This particular painting, however, is just perfection. Of course, I absolutely want to pick her up and take her home, but that's beside the point -- your capturing of the gesture, the form, the feeling of mass, is all masterfully done. It's exquisite.
